Emerging Professional Liaison
Mitch Ford, Emerging Professional Liaison, is an architectural historian with SWCA Environmental Consultants leading architectural history projects in Central, North, and South Texas. Mitch specializes in historic resources surveys and documentation, nominations to the National Register of Historic Places, and historic preservation planning. He holds a Certificate in Historic Preservation from Boston Architectural College, a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Maryland. Mitch is interested in the research and preservation of urban neighborhoods, planned communities, cultural and scenic landscapes, as well as mid-twentieth century domestic and commercial architecture.
