APT Texas Education Grant
-
The Association for Preservation Technology Texas Chapter (APT Texas) is periodically offers the APT Texas Education and Research Grant. Typically four (4) awards, in the range of $250 each are issued. These grants are made possible by the APT Texas Educational Fund.

The goals of this grant program are:

To support and encourage student research in the field of Historic Preservation (HP);
-
To encourage and promote field study and “hands-on” experience in the field of HP/conservation;

To develop student skills in competitive proposal writing.

Eligibility: All undergraduate and graduate students in any Texas-based school with a project focused on or related to Historic Preservation.

Timetable: Varies year to year.

Proposals (as a single PDF or Word Document)

​Describe your overall project and its methodology. (≤200 words)

Describe the specific activities to be funded by your APT Texas grant. How will the grant-funded expenditures support or enhance your research/field study? (≤100 words)

Proposed grant budget (be complete and provide examples or explanation as needed; for travel in your own vehicle please use a rate of $0.575/mile). Eligible expenses include: travel (this may include fuel costs, air/train tickets, lodging); printing/copying/office expenses; materials/equipment; and other costs as proposed.
