
Elizabeth Edwards

Elizabeth Edwards, is a historic preservation graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin. At UT, she is a Student Technician in the School of Architecture's Technology Lab. She received her BA in History from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. Since then, she has been a member of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps and a historic preservation intern through the National Park Service's Traditional Trades Advancement Program at Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve in Jacksonville, FL. Last summer, she interned at the South Dakota SHPO, and this summer she is an intern through Adirondack Architectural Heritage at Camp Santanoni in New York. She just ended her term as a housing cooperative director, during which she served on the nonprofit's board of directors. Her focus is on preservation trades, restoration, and maintenance.Â
